Elizabeth L. “Betty” Kregel, nee Marrell, age 88, of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, October 12, 2018. Beloved wife of Ronald E. Kregel for 70 years. Loving mother of Gary (Suzann) Kregel, and William Kregel. Cherished grandma of Jennifer (James) Doffin, Jill Phelps and Heather (Peter) Goldthorpe; great-grandma of Austen, Hailey, Sarah, Ali, Emily, Anna, Andrew, Abby, and Christopher.
Dear sister of Patricia (Richard) Kille, Dennis Marrell, Richard Marrell, late Lila (late Homer) Bruns, Gene (late Marilyn) Bunte, Karen (late John) Storbeck, and late Lawrence (Sharon) Marrell. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents William and Edna Bunte and Lawrence Marrell.
Betty was a longtime member and volunteer at St. Paul’s Church. Betty and Ronald shared many fun times and enjoyed fishing together in Hayward, WI.
