Elizabeth Jane Glasgow, age 89, of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. passed away on Oct. 28, 2012. She was born on Jan. 16, 1923, to John and Anna Mae Alleman in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth was an outgoing, caring person with a big heart, who would do anything in the world for the people she loved. She cared about her friends more than herself, but mostly loved her son, daughter, son in law, and all her friends at Two Trees Country Club, Delta Kappa Gamma, the Wednesday Group Club, and the FREA Group. She will never be forgotten.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, John Cameron Glasgow II of Ft. Walton Beach, and her daughter, Patricia (Patti) Ann Glasgow (husband Bill Curlee), also of Ft. Walton Beach. Elizabeth worked for many years as an elementary school teacher at Edwins Elementary, and also as a biology and art teacher at Choctawhatchee High School, (Meggs) and the current Choctawhatchee High School on Racetrack road, as well as Fort Walton Beach High School, finally retiring from the Okaloosa County school system in 1987.

Her husband, John C. Glasgow, retired Colonel Air Force Meteorologist, as well as retired math professor at the first Okaloosa Walton County Junior College, preceded her in death at age 86 on Aug. 15, 2003.Married at age 18, and he at age 24, Elizabeth and John would have been married for 73 years, and loved each other very much.

Elizabeth loved being an Air Force Wife, and enjoyed traveling to Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Ft. Worth, Texas, Anchorage, Alaska, and last but not least, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. She loved her home, her past Military life, her pets, her friends and her family.
