Dian Ciccarello, a retired educator and long time resident of Newnan, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the age of 72. Dian was born on June 11, 1946 in Roanoke, Alabama. She was the youngest daughter to the late Howard and Sallie Williams.
She was preceded in her death by her husband, Peter Ciccarello. Dian was survived by her loving sister, Janice Williams McCracken, her three nieces and their families: Meredith and Jim Stoneman, Kristi and David Yates and Robyn and Lee Thomason. She was a loving Aunt to her three nieces, her fivegreat nephews and one great niece. Dian was also survived by her four stepsons and their families: Larry Ciccarello, Doug and Toni Ciccarello, Mike and Gina Ciccarello and Steve and Carolyn Ciccarello. She was a beloved Memaw to twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Dian was a retired educator and spent 35 years in the Coweta County School System as a music teacher. She was also an active member of Newnan First United Methodist Church. Dian loved spending time with her family and friends, singing in her church choir and was an avid animal lover. She adopted many animals over the years and each held a special place in her heart. Dian was loved by so many and will be missed tremendously.
