Mrs. Haar passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Age 90 years. She was born April 7, 1920 in Bay City. Betty was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and it’s Ladies Aid.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Bonnie and Jerry Dueweke, two grandchildren; Stacie and Mark Murphy and Dan Dueweke, six great grandchildren; Carson, Emma, Jonah and Mya Murphy and Payton and Devin Dueweke, one sister-in-law; Joann Wood and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Haar in 1995 and two brothers; Donald and Dick Wood.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bay Medical Care Facility 1-east and the activities department for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mrs. Haar during the time they cared for her.
