Elizabeth E. (Betty) Farrell (nee Grew) of Burlington died Wednesday, August 3rd, at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly; she was 90 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA., on January 16, 1921 Betty has been a Burlington resident for more than 65 years.
A longtime and devoted member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Burlington, she was a member of St. Paul’s Altar and Rosary Society, the church’s bereavement committee and St. Paul’s Young at Heart Senior Citizens Club. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, cooking, reading and taking walks.
Wife of the late Joseph J. Farrell, who died in 1987, Betty is survived by her children and their spouses: William and Dori Farrell of Colchester, CT, , Joseph and Eileen Farrell of Manahawkin, NJ, JoAnn of San Diego, CA, and Nancy Farrell of Burlington, NJ. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
