Elizabeth “Betty” Dinger, 98, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020.
Born in Manhattan, NY, she lived in New York City for 27 years then Rochelle Park, NJ for 55 years before moving to Toms River 16 years ago.
Betty graduated from Morris High School, Bronx, NY and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Paterson State College, Paterson, NJ. She was an Art Teacher for the Upper Saddle River School System for many years. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Charles August Dinger, Jr., in 2004.
She is survived by her children Carlene Kuri of Toms River and Loraine Montferret of Toms River, five grandchildren Jamil, Russell, Gregory, Douglas Kuri and Rebecca Rysewyk, and nine great-grandchildren.
