Mrs. Elizabeth Anne (Henry) Emmons, age 89, passed away on Wednesday September 2nd, 2020 at Avalon Health & Rehabilitation in Newnan, Georgia. Elizabeth was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on August 4th, 1931. She was a loving mother and homemaker and raised three children. She loved to cook, read mystery novels, decorate for the seasons and holidays and was always ready and willing to go on a shopping expedition with her daughters, granddaughters or friends. Later in life after successfully raising her children, Betty volunteered with the Tellico Village Womens Club in Loudon, Tennessee, which supported the local children’s advocacy center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Franklin Emmons, III. Elizabeth is survived by her son and daughter-inlaw, Bill and Jo Ann Emmons; daughters and sons-in-law Teresa and Dick Kelley, Linda and Kyle Terry; grandchildren Rachel Gray, Dené Collins, Caleb Kelley, Shaun Terry, Doug Terry, and Zach Kelley; as well as her six great-grandchildren.
