Elizabeth Amanda (French) Hunt, 38, of East Haddam, beloved wife for 14 years of Frederic H. Hunt, passed away at 1:15am on Tuesday, September 29th with her family by her side at Chestelm Health Care in Moodus. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Loretta (Gluse) French. Liz lived in East Haddam all of her life and graduated Haddam Killingworth High School where she was the captain of the cheerleading squad. She was an avid singer winning many awards and competitions, worked part time at Shagbark Lumber in East Haddam with her husband and was also a stay at home mom. Liz had a wonderful personality making friends where ever she went. Besides her husband, Liz leaves her beautiful daughter, Heather A. Hunt, of East Haddam and her sister, Susan M. French of Cromwell; three sister-in-laws, Janna Hunt Moncreif of Montville, Diann Hunt Picton of Boston and Jeanne Hunt of Norwich; and four brother-in-laws, Charlie Moncreif, Tom Picton, Keith Sobieski and Edward Hunt.
