Elizabeth A. Weber, 87, of Bethlehem Twp., went to Heaven to be with her Lord, on Friday, January 24. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family. Born March 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Katie Hughes. Her husband of 59 years, Frank J. Weber, Jr. passed away March 20, 2005. Elizabeth worked in two local pants factories in Easton. The first of these was Kasover Pants Factory, followed by the Stongwear Pants Factory. Later in life, she worked as a nursing assistant at Gracedale. The job she truly excelled at however was being the most wonderful mother and grandmother you could ever wish for. Our family was so blessed to have her. She was also a member of Emmanuel ECC Church of Bethlehem and truly loved God. Elizabeth always held a hand out to anyone who might need help, no matter what position she herself might have been in. Her combination of kindness, compassion, empathy, strength and innocence was astounding. She was always ready to share whatever she had with you, even if it meant that she had to go without. She was also good at giving advice to you when you needed it, or even just offering an ear to listen. Her wonderful personality is not something you find often in this world, if at all. Survivors: She will be so lovingly remembered by her son, Barry S. Weber and his wife, Erika of Nazareth, her daughter, Carol Clift and her husband, Gregory of Bethlehem Twp.; daughter-in-law, Joanne Weber, six grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Weber, Christopher Clark, Sara Weber, Zachary and Zane Clift, five great-grandchildren, Kristen, Melea, Mason and Oskar. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her son, Frank J. Weber, III and a brother, William Hughes.
