Elizabeth A. Ford, 61, of Jacksonville died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at her residence. She was born October 24, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN; the daughter of Jack and Jane Ann Guin Joyce.
She is survived by a son, David H. Ford (wife, Nicki) of Raleigh, NC; two daughters, Sara Jane Ford Vanderleek (husband, Eric) of Lake Wylie, SC and Stefany Ford of Crested Butte, CO; two brothers, John Joyce of Los Angeles, CA and Timothy Joyce of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Jennifer Joyce of Portland, OR; and her former husband, Harry Ford of Belleville. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Joyce, and her mother, Jane Ann Faas.
Ms. Ford was a graduate of Danville High School, attended Monmouth College, and graduated from MacMurray College in Jacksonville with a B.A. in fine arts. She was employed several years as an interior designer with Arizona Tile Company in Springfield.
