Elizabeth A. “Betty” D’Ambrosio, 73, of Center Valley passed away peacefully, on Monday, October 20, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Joseph D’Ambrosio for 55 years. Born on December 10, 1940 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Horvath) Talijan. Betty and Joe have owned and operated Joe’s Barber Shop and Beauty Salon, South Bethlehem for 51 years. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Church, and currently a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, Bethlehem. Survivors: In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Joseph Jr. and wife Annette of Bethlehem Twp.; daughters, Michelle Meli and husband Louis of L. Saucon Twp.; Denise D’Ambrosio of Center Valley; grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph and Nicole D’Ambrosio, Marisa Meli; sisters, Elaine Pitskus and husband Ronald and Helen Sube.
