PIEL Elizabeth A. “Betty” (nee Plaisted), Age 81, of Manahawkin NJ and formerly of Overbrook PA. on April 25th 2019.Betty was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School, graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Pennsylvania, and a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. She received a Master’s Degree from Georgian Court College, and was a teacher for the Stafford Township New Jersey School of the late James J. “Jimmy”, Jr. and mother of the late Andrew W.Survived by her sons James C. (Eileen), Jesse, William B. (Maria), and Anthony W. (Elaine) and her daughters Marianne P. (Mike) D’Antonio, Stella (John) Piel-Costello, and Lizabeth Piel, her daughter-in-law Michele, her 7 grandchildren, Michael, Marlaina, Dante, William, Shannon, Angelica and Azieme; and great-grandson Andrew. Also her Brother William “Billy” Plaisted and her 4 sisters Natalie Davis, Tamara Billie Plaisted, Mary and Katherine Plaisted.
