Eliza Yeatts Ricketts, 90, formerly of 189 Lewis Lane, Danville, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in Riverside Health Care Center. Born July 25, 1919 in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of the late John W. Yeatts and the late Rosa Davis Yeatts. She was predeceased by her husband, Reuben G. Ricketts, Sr. Mrs. Ricketts was a homemaker and was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen R. Keesee and husband, Michael of Danville; a sister, Dorothy Johnson of Danville; a brother, John “Jack†Yeatts of Dry Fork; her grandchildren, Steven Ricketts, Cynthia Nichols, Amy Mitchell, Jennifer Gusler and Christy Brunswick and her three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her son, R. George Ricketts, Jr.; her sisters, Ethel Haymore, Louise Yeatts, her brothers, Eury Yeatts, Lee Yeatts, Frank Yeatts and George Yeatts.
