She had a gift of sensing the needs of others and an ability to provide unconditional love, support, and encouragement. The family was everything to her, especially her precious grandchildren; Sarah, Brooke, Haley, and Kayla.

Elissa is survived by her 2 children; Jeff Lafkowitz and Laurie Stanley, her husband, Bud Amerson, her stepdaughter, Martie Warren, her sister, Wendy Saul, and her grandchildren, Sarah and Brooke Stanley, Haley Warren, and Kayla Boshers, her nieces and nephews Jodi, Zoie, Talya, and Yared Wittenberg, and Cary Purcell.
