Elise Wise Creech, age 89, passed away Tuesday evening at Wayne/UNC Healthcare. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Christine Best Wise. She was a former self-employed CNA and floral designer with Parkside Florist. A member of Brownings United Methodist Church, she was a past member of Eureka Christian Church where she was a member of the UMW.
She is survived by her husband James “Jim” Edwin Creech; sons, William David Higgins, Ronald Wayne Higgins and Michael J. Higgins; daughters, Patricia Ayscue and Angela Sue Markovetz; step children, Jim Creech, Jr. and Kaye Matthews; Uncle, Everette Wise; fourteen grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several cousins.
