Elisardo “Al” Acosta, Jr., 74, of Rising Sun, IN passed away at 5:20 AM, Sunday, February 20th, at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, IN. Al was born in Bronx, NY on June 22, 1936, a son of the late Andrea (Castillo) Acosta and Elisardo Acosta, Sr. He proudly served his country for over 20 years in the United States Army and obtained the rank of Sgt. 1st class. Al served in Vietnam and was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
