MORASKI – Elisabeth Moraski, 90, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009. She was the loving wife of the late Vita Moraski who passed away in 1999. Born February 9, 1919 in Germany; the daughter of the late Johannes and Charlotte Shank. Elisabeth retired from TRW after 25 years of service. She is a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and embroidery. She is survived by her sons, Mitchell Moraski of Barre, VT and Peter Apel and his wife Bridgette of Sacramento, CA; her daughter, Karin Dayton and her husband Gordon of Winsted; 8 grandchildren, Debra Arel and her husband Raymond of Winsted, Jeannine McCloskey and her husband Lance of Pensacola, FL, Michele Haselmann and her husband David of Sacramento, CA, Hannah Moraski of Barre, VT, Amie Moraski of Bristol, Gordon Dayton of Torrington, Ryan Moraski of Barre, VT and Austin Cresh of Bristol, 5 great grandchildren, Emily Arel, Sophia and Max Haselmann, Olivia and Nicholas McCloskey; and many relatives in Germany. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Michael Moraski.
