Elinor Sue Bishop
Elinor Sue Bishop, 83, of Albright died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Monongalia General Hospital with family by her side.
She was born July 23, 1933, in Rowlesburg, a daughter of the late George A. Kirk, Sr. and Iva Lucretia Funk Kirk.
Mrs. Bishop was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She attended the Grace Chapel Church in Kingwood. Early in her working career she worked for a grocery store and was a secretary for Uptegraff in Terra Alta.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Walter Ray Bishop; her daughter, Connie Ervin and husband, Carl of Kingwood; two sisters, Betsy Copen of Bruceton Mills and Barbara Titchnell of Kingwood; three grandchildren, Tara Johnston and husband, Michael Lee II, Jacob Ervin and Melissa Taylor and husband, Nick and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
