Elenor Mae Demastus, age 64 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. She was born December 22, 1952 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Dana Wood Rowan and Geraldine Rowan.
Elenor is survived by her husband, Eugene Clay Demastus whom she married on November 15, 1971.

In addition to her parents, Elenor was preceded in death by four brothers, William Dana “Buster” Rowan & wife, Leona, Donald Richard Rowan, Harold Roger Rowan and Clarence Steven Rowan; a sister, Effie Blanch Rowan Delaney; three brothers-in-law, James Demastus, Roger Hawkins and Paul Price; and Eugene’s parents, Stella & Marshall Demastus.

Elenor was also survived by the following siblings, James Alfred & Judith Rowan of Walkersville, WV, Carolyn Ann & Jim Blankenship, Vicky Jane & John Butcher, Mary Madaline Rowan, Kimberly Y. Rowan, Rex. Allen & Pamela Rowan, Anna Mae Rowan, Daniel Ray & Faye Rowan, Brenda Sue & Harry Delaney, David Lee & Sherry Rowan, all of Clarksburg, WV, Michael S. & Lois Rowan of Fairmont, WV, Glenn Patrick Rowan of Buckhannon, WV, Hazel Louise & Timothy Rader of Spelter and Gerry Lynn & Raymond Conners of Lost Creek, WV; sister-in-law, Malissa Demastus of Enterprise, WV, Edna & Dave Yoders of Clarksburg, WV, Barbara Hawkins of Enterprise, Becky Price of Mannington, WV; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Elenor was a former member of the Full Gospel Mission Church, P.K. Addition, Clarksburg. She had a very special place in her heart for her friends at the Mason House and her longtime friend, Carla Townley. Elenor loved playing bingo and collecting elephants.
