Mrs. Eleanor Ward Jackson, 82, of Newnan and formerly of East Point, passed away January 12, 2013. She was born on February 16, 1930 in Atlanta to the late Oscar F. and Bertha Mae Ward. Eleanor retired from Rich’s Department Store after 19 years.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wilbur “Jack” Jackson, also of Newnan and formerly of East Point; daughter, Cindy Jackson, of East Point; cousin, Ernest A. Ward and his wife Pat, of Marietta.
