Eleanor Verene Breeden (Theisz) slipped away to Heaven on the morning of July 22, 2021.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her parents, John and Dorothy Theisz, her sister Carol Harmon, her brother Charlie (Lou) Theisz and many dear friends.

She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law , Cindy and Jeff Parrish, her grandkids, John and Jenna (Ken) Parrish, her nephew Chuck Theisz among many other relatives and friends.

Eleanor was born at home in Linthicum on January 16, 1940.  She was a 1958 graduate of Brooklyn Park High School.

She loved her family, the Orioles and Ravens, sewing, crochet and doing word search puzzles.  It was a family joke that she could strike up a conversation with a fence post.  She loved people and working with the public.

She worked as a clerk for Mac’s 5 and 10 in Linthicum with her sister “Miss Carol” for many years.  She also worked for Strauss and Company in sewing notions.  After they closed she worked for the Viking Center selling sewing machines. During all this she was frequently a taxi driver to her husband and daughter, often taking her daughter and friends to rock concerts. She also helped to care for her grandkids for many years.  There was nothing she wouldn’t do for the people she loved.
