Eleanor Ruth Erlandson Magee of Boca Raton, FL passed away peacefully February 10, 2022 at her daughter’s home after an almost two year battle with pancreatic cancer. Eleanor was born June 30, 1929, in Boston (Roslindale), MA and moved to Pompano Beach in 1958 with her late husband Robert. They relocated to Boca Raton in 1971.
Predeceasing Eleanor were her parents Gertrude (Baer) and Henry Erlandson, her stepmother Marion Erlandson, a brother Richard, her husband of 58 years Robert and a son Laurence. She is survived by her sister Verna (William) Holst, of Wrentham, MA, daughter Marilyn (Tom) Denney of Boca Raton, grandchildren Patrick, Shannon, Nicholas (Vanessa), Robert and Mary and many nieces and nephews. The family also wishes to recognize and thank Eleanor’s caregiver of the past several months, Sheryl Strowbridge, for the kindness, love and excellent care given to Eleanor during this difficult time.
