Eleanor Mc Kevitt,84, of Beachwood passed away Saturday April 18, 2009 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Weehawkin, she lived in Hazlet before moving to Beachwood 15 years ago. Mrs. McKevitt was a machine operator at General Pencil Co. in Jersey City for 21 years, retiring in 1984. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Andrew in 1997 and 7 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her daughters and their husbands Alice & Duane Lang, Susan & George Vlacich, both of Port St. Lucie, Fl, Josephine McKevitt & Michael Kirspel of Keyport, Eleanor & Thomas Dressler of Union Beach, Trudy & Jose Ferreira of Beachwood and Mary Jane Bloodgood of Ewing and her sons and their wife Andrew & Pauline McKevitt of Port St. Lucie Fl, and Henry & Linda McKevitt of Ft. Meyers, Fl, 28 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren.
