Eleanor May (Taylor) Lutenberg was born October 24, 1922 in Monte Vista, Colorado to Leo B. and Edith (Elwood) Taylor. She passed away quietly in her sleep November 7, 2014. Her grade school years were spent in different schools around the San Luis Valley. She graduated from Forrest Lake Academy in Florida attending college in Lincoln Nebraska before attending nurses training first at Bates Hospital in Iowa and finishing at Mason Memorial Hospital, Murray, Kentucky. On May 27, 1946 she married William (Bill) Lutenberg, there were three children to this union; Jim, John and Ula Mardene (Marty).
