DURHAM Mrs. Eleanor Louise Ferguson, 74, of Durham, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
Mrs. Ferguson was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late John Wesley Harris and Fannie Mae Mobley Harris. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She retired from Sears Roebuck where she was employed in Human Resources as an Executive Assistant. Her five grandchildren were her life and she loved taking care of them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Leroy Ferguson, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Leroy Ferguson, Jr., Charles Edward Harris, Marvin Lee Harris, William Henry Harris, Wallace Reid Harris and Michael Thomas Harris; five grandchildren, Jessica Leigh Howard Keith, Troy Lucas Howard, Mattie Olivia Ferguson, Gracie Elizabeth Ferguson and Katie James Ferguson.m.
