Eleanor L. Giacomini, age 86 of Norwalk, beloved wife of Elvinio Giacomini, died on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Notre Dame Convalescent Home, Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late John and Clara (Muoio) Denicola. A graduate of Norwalk High School- Class of 1943 and St. Mary’s Hospital, School of Nursing- Class of Sept 1947, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Lea Manor. Eleanor was a member of Pietro Micca, Lodge #744, and the Women’s Guild at St.
In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by her loving children; Diane Vincent and her husband Mark, Barbara Faccenda and her husband Leonard , 2 Brothers, John Denicola and his wife Josephine and Alfred Denicola and his wife Lorraine, all of Norwalk, and 5 cherished grandchildren: Mark and Brian Vincent, Alex, Jennifer and Christopher Faccenda, as well as several nieces and nephews..
