NEW HARTFORD –FONSECA – Eleanor Fonseca, 78, died peacefully after a long illness on Friday, January 23, 2009. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Fonseca. Born June 5, 1930 in Hartford, CT; the daughter of the late John and Alice (Cotter) Doyle. Eleanor was an avid reader, gardener and loved traveling. She was also a Chicago Bulls fan. She is survived by her sons, William Conant and his wife Sandy of Chicopee, MA and Steven Conant and his wife Carol of New Hartford; a daughter, Linda McCluskey and her husband Jim of Bristol; and six grandchildren, Jason McCluskey, Jessica McCluskey, Heather Conant, Kelly Conant, Christopher Conant and Sean Kallaugher.
