Eleanor “Betty” Dorbert, age 91, of New Smyrna Beach, died at home with her family by her side on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph and Stella (Kozek) Kokosinski, Eleanor was married for 68 years to Frank A. Dorbert Sr., the love of her life. She came to New Smyrna Beach in 2013 after living in Annapolis, Maryland for over 40 years.
Eleanor was a very special wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. While growing up, Eleanor was in the Drum & Bugle Corps Color Guard.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Frank A. Sr.; 4 children, Frank A. ( Deborah) Dorbert Jr.; Lynn E. (Dennis) Dorbert-Laube; all of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; Michele A. (David) Shaw, of Dunedin, Florida; and Mark A. (Michelle) Dorbert, of Edgewater, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Meier; brother, Raymond (Rhea) Kokosinski; all of Baltimore, Maryland. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings, Walter, Joseph, Julia, Christina, and Marion (Gabe).
