Elaine Iola Moore, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 23, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Elaine was born November 22, 1948, in Salmon, Idaho, to Blaine Cook and Iola Bitton Cook. She grew up and attended schools in Salmon and graduated from Salmon High School. Elaine also attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.

On September 28, 1968, she married the love of her life, Jim Moore, in Salmon, Idaho. Together they have two daughters, Amanda and Mindy. Elaine and Jim made their home in Salmon and later moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Elaine worked as a Loan Officer for US Bank for over 30 years. In retirement, she enjoyed her time working for Janice Seargent, Occupational Therapy.

Elaine devoted her life to loving and caring for her family. Elaine, Jim and the girls spent many trips driving in the mountains and riding ATVs. She loved fixing up the cabin they just bought for retirement. She had a wonderful group of friends that enjoyed dinners and camping trips together. She was a sister of PAE Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 47 years. Elaine was an amazing person with the ability to truly touch lives. She will be greatly missed.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Jim Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Amanda Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Mindy Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Lon (Lynda) Cook of Salt Lake City, UT; brother, Jay Cook of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Ladelle (Connie) Cook of Dallas, TX; and brother, Cary (Merrilee) Cook of AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
