Elaine Keefe passed peacefully on December 6th after a two-year cancer battle that she fought with courage. Her sense of humor and amazing optimism helped get her and her family through many difficult times, and she will be dearly missed. She referred to herself as “the glamorous one”, but we all saw her more as the generous,
loving, optimistic one that could always find the good in people. Elaine was one of four sisters that have a bond that will never be broken with a deep love and appreciation for each other. Elaine is reunited with her parents Jack and Helen after a long separation; they left us much too soon. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Mary, Margaret, and Cathy and their families, her long-time partner and friend Jeff Rome, and her many nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank you to her dear friend John who was always there for her and helped get her through a very difficult time. A private celebration of Elaine’s life is planned at a later date.
