Together, they lived in Chicago, Normal, and Jacksonville where Frank opened a CPA Firm, and where they raised their five wonderful children. Elaine truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; being with family and friends, competing in tennis, and playing bridge. She enjoyed working in her yard and maintaining her home. Elaine had a passion for financial management and accounting; she used these skills to manage accounts for numerous organizations throughout her life. Elaine loved angels which is fitting as she was one in life, and now in death. She was a Passavant Tapper where she enjoyed dancing and spending time with her friends.
Elaine was a member of Our Saviour Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She served as the Treasurer for the Old Rectory Task Force for many years. Elaine was a member of the Passavant Area Hospital Auxiliary where she served in many capacities on the board, later worked in the Gift Shop and assisted as an Action Volunteer. She served her community at Passavant Hospital where she volunteered for 50 consecutive years and was named Volunteer of the Year for 2016-2017. Elaine was an Outreach Contact Volunteer for the Woodhaven Stroke Support Group and volunteered at St. John’s Fisher Forum. Her dedication to her country and community-led her to serve as a Morgan County Election Judge for more than 15 years.
