Elaine M. Price, 52, of Freeport died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center. Born January 3, 1954 in Freeport, she grew up in the Stockton area. She was the daughter of Lyman and Regina Hayes. She married Duane Price August 14, 1976.
Elaine graduated from Stockton High School in 1972, Highland Community College in 1974, and Northern Illinois University in 1976. She has worked as an instructor at Highland Community College since 1980. Her memberships included Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
She enjoyed traveling with her family. She is survived by her husband Duane of Freeport; two daughters Stacy (Karl) Goeke of Freeport, Stephanie(Matthew) Unger of DeKalb; one son Adam Price of Freeport; two sisters Linda (Carl) Helgeson of Massbach, Marilyn (Richard) Gollmer of Forreston.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
