Marie Elaine Ellis of Greensboro, GA, died on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Piedmont Athens Regional at the age of 79. Elaine was born in Greensboro on December 11, 1942, a daughter of the late Clayton and Ruth Finch Ellis. She graduated from Greensboro High School. On May 4, 1968, she married Donald Nathan Ellis and they made their home in Greensboro, GA.
In addition to her husband, Don Ellis, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Ronnie Ellis, Lewis Ellis, James Ellis, Tommy Ellis and Curtis Ellis. She is survived by her sisters, Laura Ellis Yearwood and Mary Lou Leach; brother, Billy Ellis, daughter Donna Carol Hardin (Kent) and grandson, Nicholas Miller Hardin; and her beloved cats.
