Elaine D. (Desrocher) Harris, 81, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2014 at Kimberly Hall North in Windsor. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Norbert and Eva (Belisle) Desrocher, she worked for H.B. Fishman and Co. for many years. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. Elaine leaves her three loving children; Mark Harris and his wife Alice of Newington, Susan Parker and her husband Clifford of New Ipswich, NH and Julie Hadden and her husband Roger of South Windsor; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; her sisters, Lorraine Dutka and her husband Andrew of Glastonbury and Rita Kochanowicz of Newington. Elaine was predeceased by her beloved daughter Jennifer Amacker and her two sisters Dolores Young and Jeannette Lewis.
