Died Monday morning October 30, 2017. Elaine was born February 16, 1925 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Alfred and Alida (Sturman) Bennett. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for many years and was employed with the Upjohn Company before retiring.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard W. Bliss on March 23, 1996; a daughter, Cynthia Kay Ambroso; an infant son, Richard Howard Bliss; a sister, Jeanne Shilts; and a brother, Fred Bennett.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy (Billy Joe Robinson) Bliss-Robinson of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
