Eileen Sililo Scanlan
Our cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, Eileen S. Scanlan, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. She was born on May 20, 1954 to Sililo and Akenese Scanlan in Faga’alu, American Samoa. She lived in Hawaii and California, and then moved to Ogden, Utah to be close to her sons and grandchildren.
Eileen was a mother to many and was loving and giving to her children, brothers and sisters, and her nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her cherished family; her four sons; Allen (Anjelica) Jones, Adam (Tanna) Jones, James (Aimee) Jones, and John (Barbara) Vallejo. Also her brothers and sisters; Agnes Lagimaina Scanlan, Anthony Vailoata Leo Scanlan, Mikaele Sililo Scanlan, Jr. Sililo Scanlan, Tino Lotomau Scanlan, Auguso “Gus” Scanlan, and Mickey Sililo Scanlan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Lio Pedro Gaisoa Scanlan and Lui Sililo Scanlan, and one sister, Leaniva Scanlan.
