BARKHAMSTED -FOWLER – Eileen S. Fowler, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Thomas R. Fowler, Jr., for 37 years. Born September 28, 1941 in New Britain, CT; the daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (Dwyer) Stack. Eileen was employed by St. Francis Hospital for 12 years managing the cafeteria. She was then employed by Better Brands, Inc. as a food sales representative for hospitals and nursing homes. She was involved in the Barkhamsted Junior Women’s League, the Barkhamsted Board of Education and was The Democratic Registrar of Voters in Barkhamsted. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in New Hartford. In addition to her devoted husband, Tom, she is survived by her son, Thomas R. Fowler, III, and his wife Dr. Nicole M. Fowler of Cleveland, OH; and her daughter, Kathleen F. Michaud and her husband James J. Michaud of Bridgewater, MA.
