Eileen Rose Rupe, 86 of Centralia, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2016, at Centralia Manor. She was born June 10, 1930, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Morris Ryndress and Lola (Seekings) Ryndress.
She married Jay N. Rupe in 1966 and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1983.
She is survived by three children: Linda (Richard) Stanley of Portsmouth, VA, Suzie (Donnie) Grubb of Centralia, Steve (Sarah) Rupe of Centralia; seven grandchildren: Lisa (Rick) Bordeaux of Virginia, Tracy (Joe) Francois of Centralia, Jayme (Jason) Logullo of Centralia, Elaine (Ken) Hussain of Virginia, Morgan O’Dell of Indiana, Mallory Rupe of Irvington, and Emily Rupe of Centralia; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons: Lonnie Rupe and David Ramsey, and a sister, Lois Jean Lee. Eileen was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Centralia. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and volunteering. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
