Mrs. Carr was born in New York, NY, July 16, 1926, a daughter of the late Terence and Sheila (Gannon) Shannon. She attended New York schools and upon graduation from high school completed secretarial school. A resident of Ridgefield since 1953 coming from Jackson Heights, Queens, New York, Mrs. Carr was a retired employee of the Town of Ridgefield having been employed in the Tax Office.
