Eileen M. Andracke, 89, of Peru, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2006, at her home, following a brief illness. She was born September 22, 1917 in East St. Louis, IL to Warren O. and Della May (Schoup) Denler. She married Edward J. Andracke on September 8, 1940 in First Congregational Church, LaSalle.

She was a graduate of Peoria Central High School and attended the Chicago Art Institute. She had worked at Peru Plow and Wheel, was a partner in A&B Upholstery in Peru, and with her husband had owned and operated Mid-City Food Mart, LaSalle. She was a well-known local artist and an avid world traveler. She was a member of First Congregational Church, LaSalle, Illinois Valley Art League, Peoria Art Guild, and helped organize the LaSalle County Genealogy Society. She was a former member of the Amaranth Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. She was active in Elder Hostel.

She is survived by: 3 sons, Earl (Susan) Andracke of Rochelle, Alan Andracke of rural McNabb, and Mark (Trish) Andracke of Springfield; 1 daughter, Linda Andracke of Plainfield; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Warren Bud (Margaret) Denler of Wasilla, Alaska. She was preceded by: her parents, and her husband on December 25, 1986.
