Eileen E. Charman, age 89, of Mansfield and formerly of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Born on August 17, 1922 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Randolph J. and Julia Morrissey Charman. A resident of New Jersey and New York City for many years, she lived in Milford since 1979. She was an active member of the Milford Historical Society, Friends of the Milford Library, and the U.F.D.C. Jenny Lind Doll Club. Eileen always enjoyed watching her favorite team, the New York Yankees, play baseball. Also, she was a lover of animals, especially cats. She is survived by her cousin Alfred Charman, her Beloved Cat, Pumpkin, her God Child, Gina Prewitt, her niece Pixie Prewitt and many loving Friends. Eileen was predeceased by her sister Frances Charman.
