Eileen Agnes Coleman, 90, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2018, surrounded by her family, at Teton Post Acute Care in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She was born on April 7, 1927, in Omaha, Nebraska to Henry and Elizabeth Morgan.

Eileen grew up in Valley, Nebraska. She graduated from Valley High School in 1945. After high school she worked various jobs, including; Jacobsen’s Store in Valley, cleaning shells at a munitions factory during WWII, as a clerk at Boys Town, and for school District 1 in Tucson, AZ as a Lunch Administrator.

Eileen married Oscar Coleman in 1955, in Bridgeport, Nebraska. They were married for 30 years, until Oscar’s death in 1985. During their marriage they lived in England for 4 years as part of Oscar’s Air Force duties. From England they were re-stationed to Tucson where she remained until 1990 before moving to Idaho Falls, ID.

She enjoyed cooking and sewing and raising her kids and grandkids. Eileen was famous for her delicious homemade rolls, cookies, and potato salad. She also loved to read romance novels and to read stories to her grandchildren. Eileen was the most selfless person you could meet, always worrying about the well being of others over her own.

Eileen is survived by her three children; son, Robert Coleman of Tucson, Arizona; son, James and wife Linda Coleman of Lynchburg, Virginia; daughter, Linda Lewis and husband Brett Lewis of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her five grandchildren; James, Joseph and, Jamine Coleman, David and Caitlyn Lewis; and her great-grandson, Gavin Coleman.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Morgan, brothers; Francis, Robert, Leonard and Henry Morgan and sisters; Josephine (Graves) and Madeleine Morgan.
