CANAAN/NEW HARTFORDHALL – Eileen C. Hall, 96, of South Canaan Road, Canaan, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2007. Eileen was born July 20, 1910 in New York, New York, the daughter of the late George and Lucy (Morris Elsworth) Creevey. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College in 1932. For 67 years she was the loving wife of the late Newman Hall. Although she had the opportunity to live in a variety of locales during her life, she always returned to the family home, Esperanza, in New Hartford. She is survived by her son, James C. Hall and his wife Holly of New Hartford; her daughter, Elizabeth H. Littell of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and three grandchildren, John T. Littell, Anne C. Hall and John C. S. Hall. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Kennedy Creevey, and her sister, Carlotta Harrison. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 99 South Canaan Road, Canaan at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Town Hill Cemetery, New Hartford, in the spring.
