Effie E. Nash, 97, of Terre Haute died February 21, 2020 at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. She was born in Hymera on September 3, 1922 to Oscar and Pearl (Wyman) Keene. She was a retired operator for General Telephone (GTE).
#327 and a former member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International. Her husband, John L. Nash, Sr. preceded her in death in 1985. She is the beloved mother of daughters Sherrie Sutton and husband Butch, Brenda (BJ) Voll and husband Rick; sons John L. Nash, Jr. and wife Doris, and Teddy L. Nash and wife Peggy. She is survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren Katie Nash, Ellen Marie Voll and Noah Voll, four brothers and one sister. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews survive her.
