Effie “Dee” (Bowman) Bell, 82, of Greenwood, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Effie was born on April 9, 1938 in Macon County, TN to John and Maudie (Pedigo) Bowman.
Survivors include her brother, Clyde Bowman of Brownsburg; nephew, Greg Bowman of Greenfield; nephew, Randy Bowman of Brownsburg; niece, Penny Lewis of Brownsburg; nephew Jerry Gottfried of Indianapolis; several great nieces & nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Bell; parents, John and Maudie (Pedigo) Bowman; brothers, Homer Bowman, John “Buck” Bowman, Dessie Bowman and Williard Bowman; sisters, Beulah Gottfried and Lassie Driver.
