Edwin M. Brady, Jr., age 88, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Born in Hearne, TX. on Nov. 19, 1921, he was the son of Edwin M. Brady, Sr., and Viola Kingsley Brady. A resident of Boerne for over 20 years he was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. While a resident of Austin, TX, he worked for Montgomery Ward as Appliance Manager and was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Ed had retired from Dillards after 23 years where he was a major appliance buyer. Following his retirement while he lived in Boerne, he worked for several years at the Boerne HEB. Preceded in death by his wife, Josephine in 2004 and his son, Paul in 2001, Mr. Brady is survived by his children, Edwin M. Brady, III and his wife, Janet of Cedar Hill, TX, Nancy Marie Brady, and Michael Joseph Brady and his wife, Donna all of Boerne; Grandchildren, Kevin Rushton of Austin, Nathan Michael Brady of Boerne, and Lauren Allison Brady of Cedar Hill.
