Edwin Dale “Bud” Bitterli
Bud Bitterli, 88, died on Monday, January 7, 2013. He was born in Filer, Idaho on January 19, 1924 to Edwin and Bessie Bitterli. He attended his first 8 years of school at West Point, finishing his final 4 years of school at Wendell High School, graduating in 1942. Bud worked many odd jobs throughout the Northwest, finally settling in Wendell to farm with his father. In 1956 he married Sarah Lorraine Crawford from Wendell.
Bud is survived by his wife, Alma; his children: Robert (Judith) Bitterli, Racheal (Brian) Summers, Ruth (Dale) Pomrenke and Mark (Jerri Ann) Bitterli; a sister: Pauline Ross; his grandchildren: Jake Reyment, Erica and Evan Summers, Kim DePew and Sarah Donohue, Logan Ann and Trenton Bitterli; his great grandchildren: Kaysar and Keyan DePew. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dale Bitterli, his wife Sarah, his twin sisters, his sister Darline and his parents.
