Edwin Brewer Franklin

Edwin Brewer Franklin of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 21, 1919 near Sheridan, the daughter of the late Ezra Edwin and Alta Sheppard Brewer. She was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, and was a resident at Crown Point Assisted Living. She enjoyed reading, playing piano, and working crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Franklin died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 91. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse M. Franklin.
Survivors include her daughters, Marianne and husband Mike Grindstaff of Carneys Point, New Jersey and Saribeth and husband John Duncan of Sheridan; Grandchildren, Heather and husband Jimmy Harvey, Jessica and husband Jeremiah Austin, John T. Duncan III and wife Amanda and Cole Grindstaff; Great grandchildren, Kyla Harvey, Clayton Duncan, Elye Grindstaff, Jason Harvey, Josh Harvey, and soon to be born, Grayson Michael Austin. Also, she is survived by a special friend, Lua Vazquez, an exchange student from Spain, who is being hosted by the Harvey’s.
