Edwin Bennett, Jr.Edwin Bennett, Jr., of Eastampton, NJ., died suddenly, Saturday, October 9th at his home, he was 49 years of age. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ., on January 27, 1961 he was the son of the late Edwin Bennett, Sr. Ed has been employed for the past 30 years as a mechanic with McCollister’s Moving and Storage in Burlington. In his spare time he loved bowling and was currently serving as president of the T.G.I.F. Bowling League at Mt. Laurel Lanes.
Ed was dedicated to his job and to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife; Jacqueline (nee Russell) Bennett, his mother; Anna (nee Cliver) Bennett Ranken of Maple Shade, his daughter and son in law: Amanda Mae & David Connors of Burlington, his son Edwin Michael Bennett of Eastampton and his two grandchildren: David & Landyn Connors. Ed is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Judith (Douglas) Brant of Shamong, Debra (Karl) Beverly of Burlington, Anna (Charles) Shepherd of Burlington, Dawn Bennett of Maple Shade as well as his mother in law: Virginia Herrmann of Eastampton, 3 sisters in law, 3 brothers in law, and a very dear friend: Diane.
