Edward Westley Hausleben, 87, of Concord, NC, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at Morningside Assisted Living in Concord, NC.
He was preceded in death by his brother Paul, his sister Priscilla, and his grandson Ricky.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois Hausleben of Concord, NC, his daughter Catherine Aikey and husband Bob of Harrisburg, NC, his daughter Linda Baker and husband Bob of Mesa, Arizona, his grandchildren Wendy, Sean, Jack, and Chris, his sister Ada Smith and husband David of Paterson, NJ, and his sister-in-law, Joan Hausleben, of Hammonton, NJ. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews in NJ, NC, and CT.
Mr. Hausleben was born February 10, 1936, in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Paul and Ada Hausleben. He grew up in Paterson, N.J. as a dedicated Yankees Fan who could quote many a Yogi Berra catchphrase with a smile.
Ed was a proud Marine Sgt. who served his country at the end of the Korean War. He especially loved the time he spent on the Hawaiian Islands. He was an Aircraft Mechanic in the Marines.
